Sexton & Fowler show information. Friday 2nd July 2021

Tickets to the show are completely sold out, and there will be no tickets available on the door. The following information is for ticket holders only.

It’s nearly showtime! We can’t wait to see you on Friday 2nd July for Sharon Sexton & Rob Fowler, playing live, here at Claythorpe Watermill. Excited doesn’t come close! Here’s everything you need to know…

If you booked before 24th April, we’ll have a table reserved for you, otherwise, don’t forget to bring your folding chairs. We do have some extra benches, but your garden chairs are more comfortable, right?

It’s a fully outdoor show (weather’s looking good at the moment!) so do dress for the weather.

The grounds to the mill will be closing at 4pm on Friday so that we can set up for the evening show.

Parking

Please park in the car park opposite the mill, as close to the next car as possible. Once the main car park is full, we’ll open a small overflow car park, then it’s parking considerately along the road.

On your way here, Satnav ‘Claythorpe Watermill’ which will bring you straight here (it’s a big postcode). When you leave after dark, please remember that we have some narrow, poorly lit country lanes all around with some frightful potholes, so if you don’t know the area well, head South to the A16 for the nearest main road.

Covid guidelines, Social Distancing, food ordering… all you need to know.

We’d hoped that it would be different by now, but we’re still living with Covid rules, so for everyone’s safety, and to help us run the evening smoothly, please follow these guidelines while you’re here:

• Please respect social distancing, observe the 2m rule and avoid mingling with other groups that you didn’t travel here with.

  • On arrival, please check in using the NHS app – there are QR codes around the grounds.
  • Only food and drink bought on the premises to be consumed at the show.
  • It’s an all-seated show with table service/service to your seat only, so please be patient with the team who will be working their socks off to serve everyone as quickly as possible.
  • When you arrive, you’ll be given a number along with a menu and order form for food, drink and to pre-order interval drinks.
  • Please send one person from your group (with a face covering) to order at the till inside the mill, and follow the one-way system. If there’s a queue, please socially distance while you wait – we’ll be working as fast as we can.
  • There’s no requirement to wear a face covering while you’re outside, but please do pop yours on if you’re the person coming in to order, or if you’re using the toilet.
  • We’ll have a selection of burgers, dirty fries, pulled pork buns and more on sale, with veggie, vegan and gluten free options. If you do have any special dietary needs, please could you drop us a Facebook message or email info@claythorpewatermill.com so that the kitchen team can be ready (please include the name of the person who booked your group so that we can identify you).
  • The bar will have wine, locally brewed craft beer and ale, gin & tonic and soft drinks
  • Please also observe social distancing when waiting for the loo, and follow any extra signage on site while you’re here.
  • The animal areas at the mill will be closed throughout the evening.
  • We accept cards and cash.

ORDER OF PLAY

We’ll do our very best to run to time.

This is an outdoor event and – of course – we’re hoping for good weather. But this is the English summer so, if it does rain, we’ll move into our marquee and crack on with the fun. If this does happen, we’ll do everything we can to run to schedule but we’ll ask everyone to work with us, grab a drink, and help make the evening special!
Please follow us on Facebook for any updates – if there are any changes, we’ll pst them on Facebook and use the details you provide with your booking to contact you if necessary. We won’t use your info for any reason other than to process your booking.

Online ticket sales for this event are closed.
