There's some great stuff happening at Claythorpe Watermill
See all events

Tranquil and lovely, Claythorpe Watermill is a small, family run attraction set in the grounds of our 18th century watermill. The mill last ran in the late 1970s but you can still see the remaining millworks and learn more about its varied industrial history.Today the pace of life is slower. Enjoy the animals, sit by the river, soak up the atmosphere or unleash the kids on the swings. We're a small place and most people will allow a couple of hours for their visit, staying for coffee and cake or lunch in our excellent café, which is open to all (no need for a ticket to the grounds). But there’s no hurry so why not feed the birds and take your time over a relaxing visit and a glass of wine? We have great riverside dining through the summer evenings, and amazing outdoor movie nights in the late summer. Book your tickets now.

Sexton & Fowler… Live

Jul 2021
Gates 6pm, show starts 8.15.

This one is unmissable!

We’re thrilled to welcome award-winning West End singers Sharon Sexton and Rob Fowler to Claythorpe. From starring roles in Bat Out of Hell and Mamma Mia, to acclaimed performances in Jesus Christ Superstar, Billy Elliot, Cats and The Commitments, Sharon and Rob’s vocal range is mind-blowing. They’ll be performing hits from your favourite musicals as well as some show-stopping originals, right here in the open air at Claythorpe Watermill.

Gates open at 6pm with food and drink on sale – we’ll have our great burgers, dirty fries and more available, and the bar will be open for wine, bottled beer and more. Only food and drink purchased at the mill to be consumed on the evening.

The show starts at 8.15pm and there’s a 15 min interval.

Tickets are strictly limited. We have a limited number of tables which will be allocated in order of ticket purchases (first come first served). Once tables are all allocated, we’ll ask you to bring your own garden chairs.

Please book online using the shopping cart below, or call us on 01507 451366 (10am-5pm) to book and pay over the phone.

Please read all terms before booking your tickets

This is an outdoor show that will go ahead in any weather provided it is safe to do so – only very strong winds or lightning may lead to a cancellation, in which case we’ll aim to reschedule the show as soon as possible, subject to Sexton & Fowler’s availability. We’ll be using our big marquee, but please dress for the great British summer!  We’ll be following any covid guidance still in place on the day of the show, which may mean that not everyone can squeeze under the marquee if it’s raining and we’re still social distancing. In buying your ticket you’re accepting that there’s a chance you’ll get wet and that we cannot offer refunds if you weather isn’t to your liking.

Covid rule of 6. We’re obviously hoping that social distancing rules will be finished by the time of the show, however as a precaution, we’re assuming that the rule of 6 will still be in place and only accepting groups with a maximum of 6 people. If you’re booking as part of a group and need to sit at a table with others under the rule of 6, please call us after your booking on 01507 451366 so that we can allocate a big enough table. If you don’t contact us to arrange, we can’t guarantee that you’ll be seated with your group.

Please make sure that you provide a working phone number and email address when you book your ticket in case we need to contact you about your booking.
